An all-analog instrument — a vacuum tube preamplifier and vacuum tube power amplifier on a single polished chassis. We specify and install it for clients who want music reproduced exactly as it was recorded, with nothing in the way.

In the power amplifier section, four KT88 output tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes deliver 75 watts per channel of effortless, low-distortion power.
McIntosh's Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers carry that power cleanly to virtually any loudspeaker we pair it with. The preamplifier section runs on two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 tubes — a fully analog signal path, with nothing digital between the recording and the room.

Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor® technology continuously monitors current and adjusts the input signal in real time to keep the KT88 output tubes within their ideal operating range — preserving both performance and tube life.
If current climbs too high, Power Guard SGS® gently attenuates the input signal rather than letting the tubes strain. Paired with fuse-less Sentry Monitor short-circuit protection, the MA2375 is built for years of untroubled listening — which is exactly what we look for before we put something in a client's home.
Built for a
complete system
Two balanced and three unbalanced inputs welcome streamers, CD players, tuners, and D/A converters. A configurable universal phono stage accommodates both Moving Coil and Moving Magnet cartridges, with adjustable gain, capacitance, resistance loading, and RIAA equalization for proper vinyl playback.
A subwoofer output extends low-frequency reach, gold-plated Solid Cinch binding posts secure your cables, and an unbalanced preamp output supports a second amplifier in a larger multi-zone design. Power Control, Home Theater PassThru, Data Ports, and RS232 let us integrate it cleanly into the rest of the home.
