The network is the backbone

Streaming music, video distribution, control systems, lighting, shades, cameras, remote access, and mobile apps all depend on connectivity. Lighting, shades, and AV together

What does an AV integrator do?

An AV integrator designs, installs, programs, and supports audio, video, networking, lighting, shading, and control systems so they work together as one coordinated system. The integrator is responsible for the whole result, not for one trade within it.

What is the difference between an AV installer and an AV integrator?

An installer typically focuses on installing individual components: speakers, displays, or wiring. An integrator takes a broader position. The integrator designs the system, coordinates infrastructure with the other trades, connects multiple technologies, programs the control experience, tests performance, documents what was built, and supports the system after installation.
