Whether you’re hosting/attending a Manhattan Parade Party, or watching it on television in your pajamas, downloading the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade app will enhance the experience. Make your own balloon, get parade trivia, view the route, watch animated shorts featuring parade favorites, and more.
Note: While we've tested this app on both iOS and Android platforms without experiencing difficulties, reviews suggest it 's performance varies greatly depending on your device. It may freeze or force close on older phones and tablets.
Kringl
Free (iTunes, Google Play Store)
This app came out last year, but it’s still a favorite. Kringl allows you to super impose a live Santa video in your home. With multiple adjustments such as scaling, lighting, and alignment, the finished product is remarkable.
NCSY iLight
Free (Google Play Store)
The self-proclaimed, “Chanukah Survival Kit” includes instructions and explanations for lighting the Menorah, Chanukah videos, and an Al Ha’Nisim in Hebrew with an English translation. The best part is you can take photos of you and your family celebrating and share them with loved ones who couldn’t be with you for the holiday.
